Robert holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from The University of Houston-Downtown and is professionally focused on building effective teams, promoting community oriented conscientiousness, and exhibiting how effective communication practices can improve organizational efficiency, workplace culture, and decrease burnout.

Robert spends 3-4 months at a time living and working from home in various cities around the United States with his travel nurse husband. He is currently a Program Management Professional within the US Healthcare industry, coordinating and facilitating the placement of travel healthcare professionals with hospital contracts that add adventure and fulfillment to the lives of countless Physicians, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and other allied personnel.

The Paul Summit brand was created as an homage to his grandfather, Paul, their mutual passion for photography, and Robert’s love for the mountains. Prior, he was a remote healthcare recruiter for one year after leaving his multi-year role as the Administrative Assistant for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Director and Nurse Managers at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas to pursue a more gratifying and adventurous lifestyle. He previously expanded the role of Controller of Room Operations at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center’s Rotary House International, a Marriott partner.

Originally from Kentucky, Robert spent most of his life in Houston. Always possessing a passion for travel and engaging with diverse cultures around the globe, he has backpacked around over a dozen countries, 40+ states, and 24 USA National Parks with his camera and drone strapped to his back.
